As anyone suffering from allergies will tell you, it can truly make your life miserable. Sometimes people are born with allergies, while others develop them later in life. It could come as a result of long term exposure to an allergen. You don’t always have control over your environment and what you are exposed to. For example, if you buy a home from someone, you might not always know whether they had pets or not. Pet hair and dander can end up hiding all over your home, and you might not notice it when walking through the home a few times before moving in. Filters in the HVAC system could have traces stuck in them, which will get released when air passes through the filter.
One method of cleaning up after pets is to use a vacuum with a HEPA filter installed which will keep the dander from becoming airborne once again.
